Hi everyone, I hope that you are doing well! I wanted to talk to you today about my recent experience eating at a one Michelin star restaurant in the Bay Area. As you know, I am a foodie, a food lover, but I am also really passionate about delicate, fine, and aesthetic food. I have a real admiration for artistic chefs who can transform a dish to an “oeuvre d’art”. Nothing better than the experience of a Michelin star restaurant in order to discover new flavors!
My pictures are a little bit different this time, less brighter, due to the light.
I have tried several Michelin star restaurants in my life, more particularly in Europe, but I have not gotten the chance to eat in one of them since I have moved to San Francisco. And the funniest thing is that I have been living five minutes away from Rasa, a one Michelin star contemporary Indian restaurant this whole time! Last week was my husband’s birthday, and nothing better than a festive occasion to enjoy some delicate and delicious food! Rasa was a beautiful, and delightful experience. Each dish was elegant, graceful, and so well thought of. Each ingredient was fresh and organic, and everything tasted amazing! The service was remarkable, and, we got the honor to meet the chef to thank him for such an amazing dinner experience!
We ordered several dishes in order to try as many delicacies as possible, but I have to say that one of my favorite was their halibut fish served with coconut rice!
The chef was kind enough to prepare a surprise for my husband’s birthday. We discovered new favors through their unique deserts, with a special one for my love!
And you? Have you tried a Michelin Star restaurant before? Did you like the experience?
